ABM International, Inc. acquires Atlanta Attachment Company. This adds to the recent acquisition of Gribetz, Porter, Galkin and the other assets of GSG Machinery, signaling the merging of the largest and longest standing American bedding machine manufacturers!

ABM International, Inc., headquartered at Montgomery, Texas, was founded in 1947 as an industrial machine manufacturer in Chicago Illinois. With Neal Schwarzberger at the helm of this four-generation family-owned business, ABM has survived economic and industrial changes through the decades by continual evolution, flexibility, innovative engineering, and market expansion. In addition to ABM’s industrial quilting machine manufacturing, divisions of ABM include INNOVA Quilting Systems, Necchi US home sewing, and Accustitch.

The businesses acquired are a collection of America’s oldest and best-known bedding machine manufacturers, such as Gribetz, Porter, Galkin, and now Atlanta Attachment Company which bring over 150 years of manufacturing excellence to ABM. The AAC acquisition includes 86 high quality employees, over 238,000 square feet of additional state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, unmatched engineering capabilities, and top-notch service and support. After competing for over 50 years, these manufacturers combine to create a powerhouse of engineering and machine manufacturing expertise. The new divisions of ABM International, Inc., will be known as Gribetz and Atlanta Attachment Company.
