DESCRIPTION
This fully automated unit has been designed to greatly reduce the direct cost of labor on knit caps and turtlenecks. The model 999 eliminates the need to spread, cut and turn the material used in the construction of knit caps and turtlenecks. This unit is also equipped with the latest computer technology and has been designed to be user friendly, making the machine simple to maintain at the plant level.
OPERATION
The model 999 is a fully automatic system. Knit material is automatically fed into the machine where it is cut to the proper length. The material is then loaded onto the turning fixture where it is turned to optimize the alignment of cut edges. The material is then automatically transported to the stacker.
PRODUCTION
Approximately 600 knit caps per hour, depending on material and
size of parts.
