DESCRIPTION
The newly designed festooner is for narrow size rib that previously had to be cut and rolled. The festooned rib is loaded into plastic bags which have been held with a specially designed vacuum system, maintaining the integrity of the packaged rib. Since the festooned rib is sealed in a plastic bag it is protected during storage & shipment to the sewing plant.

OPERATION
The rib is cut on the slitter and fed into the festooner that is able to festoon 4 webs at one time. The rib is then festooned into the 4 separate containers which move laterally to allow optimum capacity in each container. Once the containers are full the bags are removed by the operator, sealed, and are ready for shipment.
